Fees and pricing
Effective: 28 March 2026 (indicative grid; binding amounts appear in escrow checkout and in the wallet before you confirm each operation).
Philosophy
Fees reflect deal complexity, currency, and compliance workload. We avoid hidden charges: escrow service cost is agreed before funds enter escrow; wallet deposits, withdrawals, and exchanges show the applicable rate or method fee before you submit.
Standard escrow deals (USD reference)
| Deal size (USD) | EvoPay fee* |
|---|---|
| Up to 5,000 | 5.0% |
| 5,001 – 25,000 | 3.0% |
| 25,001 – 100,000 | 2.0% |
| Above 100,000 | from 0.5% (custom) |
* Minimum fee USD 25 unless otherwise stated in your offer.
Wallet: currency exchange
In VirtuOZ, Exchange (/exchange) converts between balances on your wallet using an operator-published FX rate from our market-rate feed (direct pairs where available, otherwise EUR-based crosses from the same feed). The application multiplies the amount you sell by that rate and rounds the result to the smallest unit of the target currency.
- Binding quote: the screen shows the amount you will receive before you confirm; that is the price used when the trade posts.
- Pair availability: if no rate exists for a currency pair at the time of the request, the product reports that the pair cannot be traded.
- No extra percentage layer in-app: the exchange path does not add a separate markup on top of the stored rate—the published rate is what the engine applies.
Outside the platform: correspondent banks, card schemes, or your own bank may charge fees that are not part of the EvoPay-calculated exchange amount.
Wallet: deposits and withdrawals
Deposits and withdrawals are fiat operations initiated from Wallet. They are recorded as manual-fiat requests that may remain in pending review until operators complete compliance and settlement steps.
- Per-channel fees: each enabled payment method in the directory has its own fee in percent (basis points), plus optional minimum and maximum amounts. The wallet form surfaces the method-specific fee and limits for the rail you choose.
- Eligibility: channels can require a minimum KYC tier and may be restricted by country / jurisdiction and transfer limits.
- Balance impact: available balance changes only after the transaction leaves pending and is confirmed according to operator processing.
Third-party costs: wire fees charged by your bank, intermediary banks, or payment partners are separate from the EvoPay fee line shown for the selected method.
Other structures
- Milestones: per-tranche pricing agreed up front.
- Non-standard assets: bespoke review and quote.
Before you fund
- No upfront fee to obtain a quote.
- You can walk away until the agreement is signed and escrow is funded.
Transparent fees, neutral custody.
